Beta-glucans Blocker 

1. Product information

There are two pathway in TAL(Trachypleus Amoebocyte Lysate) reagent ; Factor C pathway is specific to endotoxin and factor G pathway is specific to (1,3)- β-D-Glucans. If the test sample contains β-1,3-Glucans, the endotoxin test will be interfered . Beta-glucans Blocker blocks the reactivity between TAL and β-1,3-Glucans, increasing endotoxin specificity to the TAL test. If the test samples contain β-1,3-Glucan, such as cellulose, Beta-glucans blocker would be a good choice to block the β-1,3-Glucan interference in TAL reagent reaction.
